Refugee Orphans in Nakivale Refugee Camp, Uganda

We are African Initiatives for Change, supporting 100 refugee orphans in Nakivale Refugee camp at Hope of the Nation Primary School located in south western part of Uganda. Some of these orphans lost their parents during wars in their respective countries, a large number from Democratic Republic of Congo, and some lost their parents due to the hard critical life within the camp that reflect the violence they faced in their respective Countries and even within the Camp. However some of them have only one parent as well. AIC has been supporting these children academically since 2021 but as the number of the children has increased, we are only able to support 39 pupils ($780) per year (School fees). The school fees within the camp is $7 per term (Three Months) per child, so we still need $1,220 per year for 61 remaining pupils... Remember it is never anyone's choice to become an orphan, and helping isn't always because we have much, it is simply because there's someone who needs it the most. Every cent can make a difference.
