Help Bring Reflections to Life — A Filipino American Short Film About Love, Loss, and Identity
To my lovely community, my name is Celine Chantelle — I’m a Filipino American filmmaker, actor, and yoga teacher creating stories that honor our roots, resilience, and rebirth. My purpose is to amplify our voices, to heal and connect our community through the rawness of the human spirit.
We're raising $5,000 to complete production for the short film Reflections — a deeply personal project based on a true love story, a bond that was passionate, adventurous, and deeply transformative.
With the help of an amazing crew and a team of AAPI creatives willing to collaborate, I was able to write and produced this film to embrace the beauty and chaos of loving someone before we fully know ourselves. Through Kira and Kai’s story, I wanted to capture the tenderness, messiness, and growth that often come with young love—especially through an AAPI lens that isn’t often centered in these narratives. This film is a love letter to the lessons we take with us, and the people who shape our becoming. This story is not just mine and wouldn’t have gotten this far without the team who believed in this vision. My hope is that Reflections offers a mirror to those who have ever loved deeply, imperfectly, and without regret.
