This page has been started to help raise funds to help the Haley family!! On December 7th the hill below Kevin and Jessica Haley's Corbett home slid away due to the heavy rain. The landslide started right at the edge of their house and flowed into the road below. The mud and debris were cleared from Corbett Hill Road in about a day, but the extensive damage to the hillside will take months to repair and cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. 


Kevin has been working with geo engineers and contractors to come up with a plan. After surveying the damage the contractor quoted the Haley's landslide repair at $100,000-$125,000! Their home insurance does not cover a penny of the cost. The repair plan includes many loads of fill dirt, the construction of a retaining wall and the stabilization of their home.


They have been busy laying tarps and re-routing water to avoid any further damage. Battling the east wind has made it challenging to keep the tarps in place. In addition to stakes, they have also had to place bags of concrete over the tarps to hold them down.
