REEX 2022 JumpStart Summer Program Scholarships

The 2022 Real Estate Exchange (REEX) JumpStart Summer Program is hosted by the Real Estate Executive Council (REEC) to expose diverse high school students to careers in commercial real estate, business and entrepreneurship. By exposing students to these pathways during high school and providing access to a network of CRE professionals, REEX can help shape an exciting and successful career journey, eventually creating stronger communities and potentially generating intergenerational wealth for all these young people.

 

That's where YOU come in. With your DONATIONS TO SUPPORT STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS & PROGRAMS, we can provide opportunities for these talented high school students, many of whom are economically disadvantaged, to participate in this year's summer programs. Please join us in empowering teens to experience and eventually consider working in Commercial Real Estate.

Sponsor a Student's Travel: $1,000

Sponsor a Student's Room & Board: $2,000

Sponsor a Single Student's Full Scholarship: $4,000

Sponsor a Team of 5 Students' Full Tuitions: $20,000

Sponsor a University Program: $25,000-$50,000

[Update: REEC is happy to announce that the IRS has notified us that the REEC Foundation application for 501(c)3 non-profit status has been approved. With that, donations to our REEX 2022 JumpStart Summer Programs will be tax deductible for donors. Donation acknowledgment letters will be sent to all donors later in the summer.]

 

This summer, in partnership with six (6) universities (Cornell, Harvard, Howard, MIT, NYU & Univ. of Miami) and LEAD (Leadership Education and Development), the REEX 2022 JumpStart Summer Program will add to the robust pipeline of diverse talent that will transform our industry!

In addition to the 2-week summer experience, all graduates will also be provided with four (4) Post Summer Virtual Learning Sessions (Fall 2022 and Winter 2022/2023) focused on Leadership Development, Entrepreneurship, Emotional Intelligence, Team Building, and Social Justice.
