Hello, my name is Ryan Reeves. Film student, actor, and director. I have started my very own brand “ReevesReels” so that I can work towards my very own production company.
Currently, I am working towards my directorial debut. As a team… we are currently in the pre production process. Films are great ways to tell a story and bring people together. My goal is to do just that, as I have assembled an ALL black cast, and predominantly black crew. I am very proud to say this. I am working with some amazingly talented individuals here at SCAD. This was important to me because this aligns with my life goal. To tell the stories that need to be told from a black and brown perspective. This film accomplishes that.
At the end of the day, however, films are not the cheapest things to create and so I have started fundraising. The funds will be used strictly for the overall production of this film, as well as any other future projects that will come. Things from location, food, equipment rentals, logistical funds, all add up to a budget very quickly. Any amount helps, as we get closer to production week!
