Reese’s Thyroid Cancer Surgery, Treatment, and Recovery.
Donation protected
I’m reaching out on behalf of Reese and her family. Reese, a strong 12-year-old girl, was recently diagnosed with thyroid cancer and is also managing Type 1 diabetes. This diagnosis has been a huge challenge for Reese, but she’s facing it with remarkable strength. Even the toughest people need help sometimes—and that’s where we hope you’ll come in!
Reese will need surgery and ongoing treatments at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. While she is determined to get through this, the financial burden of her journey is significant. Reese’s parents will need to take time off work to care for her, and the travel, accommodations, and medical expenses will add up quickly.
The Riedasch family is the first to lend a hand when others need support, but now they are the ones who need help. We all know that asking for help isn’t easy, and accepting help is equally as hard. They have been and continue to be deeply humbled by the love and support they’ve already received. Many people have reached out, asking how they can help—and right now, the most impactful way to support them is through financial assistance.
How Your Support Will Help:
Future Surgery: Reese will need surgery to treat her thyroid cancer, followed by additional treatments and therapies.
Ongoing Medical Care: Reese will continue to manage both her thyroid cancer and Type 1 diabetes with the strength and resilience she’s shown so far.
Travel Expenses: The family will need to travel to Rochester, MN, for surgeries, consultations, and follow-up treatments. This will include costs for gas, food, and lodging.
Accommodation: The family will need a place to stay near Mayo Clinic during Reese’s surgeries and treatment cycles, which can be costly.
Time Off Work: Reese’s parents will need to take time off work to care for her, ensuring she has the full support she needs during her treatment and recovery.
Your donation will directly support Reese's treatment and help ease the financial burden on her family, allowing them to focus on what matters most—Reese’s health and recovery. No contribution is too small, and every bit helps.
Reese’s family is deeply grateful for your kindness, love, and prayers. Please consider sharing this campaign to help spread the word and offer Reese the support she needs during this difficult time.
