This is the story of Reese Colburn.....Reese is a spunky, lively 11 year old spitfire who's heart is full of love, big brown eyes are full of wonder and a smile as big as the state of Texas.
Being around this ray of sunshine, you'd never know how sick he truly is.  Born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, known as "Blue Baby Syndrome" in the 80's, Reese was immediately flown to Boston after birth to endure the first of many surgeries.  Most recently, suffering from liver failure and multiple ongoing kidney stones, a pacemaker was installed inside Reese's heart at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.  Due to the delicate nature of Reese' condition, this will require close monitoring and follow up. 
Christy York and I have teamed up to help this precious young man with the rising medical costs and would appreciate your help!  Our goal is to raise $10,000 or more if we can!  The money will go toward's Reese medical expenses, including travel expenses for him back and forth to Nashville, TN from Huntsville, AL. 
Our goal is to have $10,000 raised by 11/30/16 - right before the mad rush of the holiday season begins!
