Reese and I need your help!

Reese is my 7 yr old Dutch Shepherd. Those that know me know how much Reese means to me. I would do anything for this dog.

Anyone who has had the pleasure of meeting Reese can tell you what an amazing and special dog he is. He tends to gather a bit of a fan club wherever he goes. Whether it was for cuddles and pets or playing tug, he just loves meeting new people and making friends.

Reese is a very intense dog when it comes to doing the activities he loves (Fetch, agility, dock diving, swimming/chasing waves). He doesn’t tend to do anything in moderation. It's mostly all or nothing with him.

Unfortunately, because of Reese’s leg conformation, playing hard has finally caught up to him.

What's happened:

Reese is in need of crucial stem cell treatment on both shoulders and his left bicep. He has torn tendons in his shoulders that are healing incorrectly (causing extra bone growth to happen in the joint), and he has a partially torn tendon in his left bicep.

Which means the only activity Reese can do right now is easy walks on flat ground. He can’t run, jump or swim without risking fully tearing the tendon in his bicep and permanently damaging his shoulders.

What Reese Needs and Why:

Because of Reese’s size, this Stem Cell treatment will have a huge effect on his life expectancy, and ensure that he can stay mobile as he ages. He needs it in order to return to a normal life as an active dog.

Funding:

Now to the reason why I need to do crowdfunding!

This is not a cheap procedure. And I (like a lot of people out there right now) am between contracts at this time. So I can't afford to pay for it without losing the place I live.

Including physical therapy, massage therapy, and equipment costs, in the end the total cost may be close to or exceed $10,000.

However, excluding the aforementioned, here is a breakdown of the basic costs:

Every little bit helps.
