Reese & Madison Watson family
Reese and Madison were injured in a terrible car accident. Reese’s injuries are so severe that he will most likely be unable to work for at least 6 months. His injuries include, a broken shoulder, wrist, knee cap, ankle, and a shattered heel. As you know, this last year has been extremely difficult for their family with the death of their beautiful little angel, Evelyn. Madison and Elliott have both been hospitalized this year. Let’s pour out our love and support by helping this precious family.
UPDATE: Reese is out of surgery. They put 2 pins in his wrist, cleaned out his bone fragments out of the knee, and attached the tendon back to the patella.
His cartilage was damaged which was not anticipated, so that could cause arthritis at a later date.
If his swelling is down enough, the doctor wants to do surgery on his ankle next week.
UPDATE # 2: Reese had surgery this past Monday on his foot/heel! She put a plate and screws in. The doctor said this was a better alternative than fusing it, and was pleased with the surgery. Reese did so good!
The driver that was at fault only carried minimum liability limits, which means it probably won’t even cover half of the cost that will be incurred just from hospital stays and surgeries. That won’t even include the physical therapy and rehabilitation, or the fact that Reese cannot work possibly 6 months or more!
Reese is self employed, so if he is out of work, then there is no income. Let’s rally behind this amazing family, and help ease some financial stress!
Thank you so much for all of your donations! You are greatly appreciated! God bless!
