Please Help My Brother Reenter into Society

Hello friends and family,

I am reaching out to ask for your help in supporting my brother as he begins his journey toward a new life. As some of you may know, my brother has been incarcerated for the past 13+ years and is finally being released in mid-February 2023.

Throughout his time in prison, my brother has undergone a tremendous transformation and has become a completely different person. He is determined to turn his life around and positively impact those around him. He has joined self-help groups and many correctional officers and staff alike have high praise for him and his character development. He even leads some of these groups, all while graduating from Adams State with Honors with a spectacular GPA.

As you can imagine, starting over is never easy, especially when you have limited resources and support. That's where we come in.

I would like to raise $2000 to help my brother get back on his feet and start his new life on the right foot. These funds will go towards essentials such as a backpack, wallet, toiletries, and a few sets of clothes. Any excess will go towards the next steps in his integration such as therapy, fees for a driver's license, etc. Some 'essentials' such as a phone and a laptop have been donated already. Venmo is preferred (@cal-leung) but this works fine as well.

Any amount you can contribute, no matter how small, will make a massive difference in helping my brother get back on track. If you can't support financially, I will be sharing this page with him when he comes out so words of encouragement will definitely help! He's going to need it.
