For as long as I can remember, I have associated my mother with an oak tree: resistant, long-lived, but with very soft leaves. Those who know her, are aware of her warrior qualities, and the usual victories in her battles. However, this time my mother cannot go to war alone, and I need your collaboration to help her.

Mrs. Eumelia has SEVERE RIGHT ARTHROSIS and requires immediate surgical treatment aimed at total right hip replacement arthroplasty. The damage is gradual, the pain is permanent and the difficulty to walk is intolerable. Her movements are more limited with each passing minute, not to mention what it means to walk up and downstairs, sit for long periods of time, stand, carry weight, or walk long distances. And her country,  requires her to do all this, as it is part of her daily life.

I need your help and prayers to cover the cost of the prosthesis, clinical services, medicines, and physiotherapy.

My mom does not rest even for a second to be in favor of society, to work, to be useful, and to help others in her own country. Every grain of sand will mean a great help for the oak tree to continue standing and to be able to continue casting shadows for others.

Desde que tengo uso de razón relaciono a mi mamá con un roble: resistente, longevo, pero de hojas muy blandas. Los que la conocen, están al tanto de sus cualidades de guerrera, y de las usuales victorias en sus batallas. Sin embargo, esta vez mi mamá no puede ir a la guerra sola, y necesito de tu colaboración para poder ayudarla.

La Sra. Eumelia presenta ARTROSIS SEVERA DERECHA y requiere de tratamiento quirúrgico inmediato orientado a la ARTROPLASTIA SUSTITUTIVA TOTAL DE CADERA DERECHA. El daño es gradual, el dolor es permanente y la dificultad para caminar es intolerable. Sus movimientos son más limitados con cada minuto que pasa, sin contar lo que significa bajar y subir escaleras, estar mucho tiempo sentada, parada, cargar peso o caminar largas distancias. Y su país, requiere que ella haga todo esto, pues forma parte de su cotidianidad.

Necesito de tu colaboración y oración para cubrir el costo de la prótesis, los servicios clínicos, las medicinas, y la fisioterapia pertinente.

Mi mamá no descansa ni un segundo por estar en pro de la sociedad, trabajar, ser útil y ayudar a los demás dentro de su propio país. Cada granito de arena significará una gran ayuda para que el roble siga de pie y le pueda seguir haciendo sombra a otros.
