Hi I’m Kodi in New York, and the Albordyny family in Gaza reached out to me to share the story of their family’s struggle.

This is Remas.

She is in desperate need, and they are not asking for much. They need a tent, food, and money for medical bills. The funds go to me then to an app called Revolut to transfer to Francesca on our team, then to the family’s PayPal. We do this to avoid large exchange and processing fees and help your donations go as far as they can.

“She is Remas, a child with complete cerebral palsy. She needs Pampers, milk, and Cerlac. I cannot meet her needs. She lives in Palestine, Gaza, Deir al-Balah.”

Ahmed and Raneem care for Remas and other members of the family. They are some of the most generous and strong people I have ever had the honor of getting to know. They have worked tirelessly to get basic needs to the members of their family close and extended. They brought their uncle Mahmoud to my attention. He is in desperate need of basic necessities as well.

We have successfully been able to transfer funds out of GoFundMe to Remas’ team. So far the amount that has been processed, sent, and confirmed received is $1193.38. $136.86 is on its way as we speak, and the rest is being processed by GoFundMe. Thank you all for your generosity and patience. It is so worth it to confirm the help is getting where it belongs!

UPDATE: Ahmed and Raneem have distributed aid and energy to so many people with what little they have, it would be amazing if we could help him as well as the rest of the Albordyny family continue to support remas and have all they need to support themselves. The situation in Deir Al Balah has intensified greatly. Cost of basic needs is extortionate, aid is not being allowed in, there is a big influx of people since the rafah invasion. This is dire and urgent and we have a direct channel. All money will continue to go to basic needs, food, water, medicine & formula for remas, tents for the family members.

UPDATE: despite many obstacles We have been able to send every cent to the family as of 5/24/24 and funds make it to them in about a week or less. tents are being built and aid is making it Remas, Raneem, Ahmed, and Mahmoud. Ahmed continues to help those in his community as well as his sister and Raneem works in getting aid for her uncle. Please continue helping this family! They are making every last dollar go to direct use.
