August 14-16, I have put a team together to fish in the Poor Girls Open in Ocean City, MD — not just for the thrill of the tournament, but for something much bigger.

As a breast cancer patient, this fight is personal. I’m living it every day. And while I can’t control the diagnosis, I can choose how I respond. I’m choosing to make a difference. I’m choosing to raise money for life-saving breast cancer research — and I need your help.

The Poor Girls Open was founded to support women like me. It’s an all-women’s fishing tournament that raises critical funds for breast cancer causes, and I’m proud to be part of it this year.
