To my dear friends and supporters,
By now you must know that I am running to continue being your ARRL Hudson Division Director. I have served as your advocate on the ARRL Board of Directors for the past six years, which includes positions on all three standing committees, subcommittees, and as Chairman of the Legislative Advocacy Committee. Prior to that, I served this Division as a Section Manager, a Section Emergency Coordinator, and as a District Emergency Coordinator. I have the experience that is needed to be effective in the position of Director. My opponent, sadly, does not.
There is still much work to be done, and I’d like to continue providing support and advocacy for the Hudson Division of the ARRL, in Newington and in Washington.
Running a campaign is never easy, and never cheap. I humbly ask for your support financially as well as with your vote. Why, you ask? Very simply, the expenses which are all out-of-pocket, are many and include long distance travel to club meetings and events, fuel, lodging, table space at hamfests, flyers, mailings, promotion, etc.
My friends and supporters, I humbly ask you to please dig into your pockets and donate whatever you can. Each and every donation, no matter the amount, will be greatly appreciated. Any money raised but not spent will be donated to the ARRL Legislative Advocacy Fund, which helps fund the effort to obtain passage of the Amateur Radio Parity Act.
Thank you.
