REEL LOVE (tentatively titled screenplay project)

Greetings!

My name is Brian and with the recent shifts in our planet. I have felt led to pursue my passions on a grander scale.

I quit my job with absolutely no backup plan, other than to complete a screenplay that I hope will add some light and love in to the world.

The project is titled "REEL LOVE, Moon Songs and Sun Days of The Akashic Records".

The Moon and the Sun meet in passing and decide to incarnate as a bipolar gigolo and a Muslim woman with night terrors, who meet cute in a therapist's office, can't stand eachother, and then... fall in love.

Oh yeah. It's also a musical that incorporates 80's pop songs.

It deals with themes of religion, unity and separation; and makes a stab at how the Universe might have come in to being. Tesla, Nietzsche, and aliens are supporting characters. And a hologram Elvis even makes a cameo.

The Hollywood pitch is Eternal Sunshine meets Xanadu.

REEL LOVE was written expressly as a vehicle for model/actress Rezeta Veliu and I have also written a supporting role for Ann-Margret, featured roles forAlison Fraser and Scott Bakula (HE doesn'tknow it yet; She DOES!), as well as some actor friends from NYC and elsewhere.

I have a limited amount of time to complete the first draft ( I have quite a bit of material) but it is dense and I need to spend A LOT of time editing.

It has an Inception ( as in the DeCapprio film) vibe, but I'm hoping it will be a touch more accessible. I HOPE. I think I need to rewatch that...

I wish to turn the script

over to some people who are patiently waiting in L.A. as soon as possible, yet I'm finding it challenging to give it my undivided attention with my present financial situation. In fact, I recently sold a brand new laptop that I was saving to do the rewrites to give me more time before getting another day job.

What I can offer in exchange? Immense gratitude, certainly. The rest is negotiable. As far as producing credits, I'm not certain how those things work. But I can guarantee mentions in any award acceptance speeches and on talk show appearances. Kelly Clarkson, I'm coming for ya!

I ain't messing around with this one,and am shooting for the stars.

Those of you who are familiar with my work...This is the best thing, by far, that I have ever written and I would NEVER dream of doing something like this ( I have always felt a little cringe when I see these attempts for what might possibly be vanity projects) if I were not so confident about the material and where it could possibly lead.
