To our beloved community of friends and family,

Everett and I are grateful for the way you’ve journeyed alongside us throughout the last three years of believing for Baby Reedy. Your prayers and encouragement during our time of loss, waiting, testing and medical procedures have been a gift from the Lord.

In the summer of 2023, after many extensive tests and procedures, we received a diagnosis of infertility with our doctor giving us the options of only being able to do IUI or IVF. While we knew the success rate for IUI’s were quite low, due to the cost being about $2,000 per cycle, we decided it was an investment worth making. Throughout the last year, Everett and I have completed three IUI’s all of which have been unsuccessful.

After our third failed IUI in May, through prayer, wise counsel and the support of our families, we’ve made the difficult but exciting decision to participate in IVF abroad in Colombia this August, 2024.

While we realize this date is coming up soon, due to Everett’s travel season picking back up in September, we felt peace that August was the ideal time for us to take this opportunity... so much so that our airfare and accommodations are already booked & paid for!

The average cost for IVF in Florida can be upwards of $25-$35K for just one cycle of IVF. Everett and I are both very fortunate to have jobs that are allowing us the flexibility to stay in Colombia for several weeks in order to have a more affordable IVF experience.

We are personally taking the summer to make preparations, budget and save in order to contribute as much as possible to the overall cost but realize we cannot do it alone. The financial goal of raising $13,000 will help provide for our medical costs and remaining travel expenses to start our IVF process in Colombia.

We are humbled to have a community of friends and family that we can share this news so vulnerably with. While this may not be our original plan, we are comforted by the fact that God’s ways are always better than ours. Thank you for loving us, supporting us and encouraging us through our fertility journey.
