My Name is Emma and I am Reede's boo. I have been honored to build my life with this incredibly loving, generous human who gives so much to their community by showing up in the most authentic ways of care.

Those of us who have gotten to know them on such a deeper level, feel their care and support that fills up into every space they are in. They have an aesthetic that I am always in awe of and brings so much coziness into their store/at home. For those of us lucky enough to recieve a specially curated care package or birthday gift- it always feels special and magical. Gift giving is one of their biggest love languages and it shows.

Reede is Armenian and over the last few years, has created a deeper connection to their ancestral heritage. They joined a queer Armenian meditation group that has been transformative and expanded their Armenian community locally and nationally. They create Armenian specific care packages and fundraisers. Sharing stories of ancestral wisdom and making DELICIOUS Armenian food in our home. They were able to travel to Armenian two years ago for the first time and were deeply transformed by the experience. They got to revel in Armenian herbs, buy all the rugs ( anyone who knows Reede, knows they love their textiles, fabrics and rugs). They brought an extra suitcase- JUST for herbs and rugs!

When Reede returned home from Armenian, they knew that that they would need to go back in a year or two. The next time they wanted to actually travel to the area/village their family is from. Well last year was a season of moving, floods, teaching their first herbal year long course- So Armenia wasn't in the cards. This year for their birthday( Valentines Day), I would like to ask for community support to hopefully get them back there this fall. They have NO IDEA i am doing this, so please keep it discreet.

I am raising the funds that will take the largest cost barrier- a plane ticket and transportation. Help me make Reede's dream to return and do more herbal community work possible!
