As many of you may know (and for those who don’t your about to) Reece is fighting a bigger battle than he has ever had with any basketball ref...... he is battling cancer. While we have all been in lockdown dealing with Covid, Reece    has been dealing with chemo after chemo after chemo. While he is near the tail end of treatment, it is far from over for him and whatever we can do to help him out we will....as a family, United in basketball, we are there to support him. 

Reece has been part of the Narre Warren Warriors for 14 years, voted in as Vice President 6Years ago, as well being a REP coach for the Casey Basketball Association - Casey Cavaliers- for many years. Reece was also a Panthers coach for some years and although a Narre Warren Warrior coach has always helped Panthers by being a full time Saturday Coach or Filling in when possible when we cant get a fill in. A very Special Man and Mate. 

Reece’s heart is as big as his voice (you hear him coaching before you see him) and he’s always the first to put his hand up to help or coach an extra team.
Even though Reece’s own children have been out of junior basketball for many years,  he has continued to support NWBC and Casey kids in the sport they all love. Without people like Reece volunteering his time, our kids wouldn’t get to play the game they love.

Now, as his NWBC Family and basketball
community as a whole, it’s our turn to help him. We have started this Gofund me page as Reece is no longer able to work and has some dreams he still wants to fulfill while he can. If we can help reduce some of his stress and see him fulfill his dreams, then we will be as happy as he has made our kids over the years. 

If you are able to donate to Reece no matter how small the donation we know it will be life changing for him, we want him to know we are all here to support him, as he has supported us and our kids over the years.
