Reece Watkin, to help aid his medical recovery.

Dear friends and colleagues. Some of you may know, Reece Watkin has been unwell for sometime now. Since November, Reece has spent most of his time in the RAH, treating and diagnosing a complex medical issue that has the medical professionals at odds to understand. Reece’s medical team have been working to investigate his condition, with Reece having to endure the full extent of his conditions treatments, which has been unpleasant for Reece and his family.

Thus far, just about every test, scan and procedure known, has been undertaken on the big man, still with difficulties in identifying the root cause of his illness and ultimately leaving his treatment plan still partially unknown.

Reece has been positive the entire time, but it is taking its toll on his endurance, leave balances and financial situation. The costs associated while he has been in hospital and off work have been significant and a couple of his mates thought it would help to put the hat around for a guy who has helped so many others out in times of need.

Reece has been a well respected mate to us all, both in his local community and within his workplace. He would do anything to help when asked and it would be great if we could now dig deep and help show our support to both Reece and his family, who have also been under tremendous pressure during this time.
