Redmond Old Firehouse TC: RIP Oliver Frazier-Savoy

Every penny of the proceeds from this campaign will go to the Old Fire House Teen Center (OFH), located in Redmond WA. The OFH provides a creative space for teens to focus and collaborate in the visual and performing arts, as well as service leadership opportunities.
Oliver Frazier-Savoy, age 24, perished in a tragic crosswalk accident on April 15, 2021. He loved to spend afternoons in the OFH, working on his visual art concepts and enjoying their broad variety of supplies, materials, and clippable print media. Oliver also had fun times in their studio, learning to play bass guitar and doing recordings with his teen bands (The Industry, Robot Party, etc) and made start-to-finish silkscreened shirts for the band using his hand drawn design. This space helped Oliver grow and flourish; he rapidly progressed into a brilliant pen-and-ink illustrator and creative writer.
The OFH also provided a support net and sounding board with calm and cool young adults, and Oliver turned to them for advice and further help in the times he needed them. The family is very grateful for what the Old Fire House provides in its local community. COVID-19 has been hard on services like the OFH; we want to help it regrow and flourish when the time is right.
If the funding goal is reached, we think (but are not yet sure) that it will be enough to fund a functional furnishing such as a park bench with a placard in Oliver's name at the OFH. It would be fulfilling to his family and many friends to know it could be there for future teens, weathering all the years ahead and providing a platform for fun, laughs, ink stains, angst, all of it, that our dear Ollie was never able to enjoy himself.
We present this GoFundMe set up by Oliver's parents. The OFH is aware of our campaign and will help us arrange to ensure it gets directly into their facility's budget. The OFH is primarily operated and funded by the City of Redmond, Washington.
