Redevelopment of Axwell View Football Pitches

Steven Harrison is organizing this fundraiser to benefit WINLATON COMMUNITY FOOTBALL CLUB.

Winlaton Community FC was founded in 2020 by merging Winlaton Vulcans FC and Winlaton Juniors Football Club who both had one vision to create a football club for the Community of Winlaton and surrounding areas. With over 250 members we are embarking on a very exciting journey, taking ownership of Axwell View Playing Fields Winlaton to expand the club and create first class facilities for both our members and people of Winlaton to enjoy and play sport.

This project has been many years in the making and we are extremely excited to get things moving with a number of key objectives to achieving our vision:

Fence off pitches to ensure no further damage can be done. Over the last 12 months the land has become subject to vandalism from vehicles, fires, litter, fly tipping. To preserve the pitches and make them safe, the only solution is to fence off the area with 2m high fence providing access gates around the perimeter. This will ensure pitches are in top condition for the whole community to use.

Refurbish changing Pavillion so that it is usable and accepted by the football league as up to standard. This includes decoration but major building works to make safe and provide facilities for both male and female football.

Provide equipment for grounds maintenance. This will include grass cutting equipment, line markers, goals and storage.

Obviously all of the above comes at a considerable cost but we are determined to make our vision a reality to benefit the whole community of Winlaton and will not stop until we reach our target of £65000. Therefore we ask you all, if you are able to donate then please do so.
