Redeemed: Songs for Children & Families was written for a summer church program, but the songs have stuck with adults and children alike over the past five years since we began to write and share them. We have partnered with producer Drew Elliot (Cardiphonia, Bellwether Arts) to bring these songs to life. Drew is a folk musician, educator, and engineer with over twenty years of experience producing music. On these eight tracks, you will hear Drew’s skills as an instrumentalist, singer, and arranger, featuring vocals, pedal steel, guitars, mandolin, banjo, keys, bass and percussion. We have already recorded the core components of each track and we are looking forward to adding strings to fill out our vision for these songs. We wrote these songs to remember that God is good even when times are hard, and to give them a way to enter into the story of God’s redeeming love in the wilderness. The total cost of this project covers all production, copyright registration, and string players, as well as some travel costs. There is no profit in this venture. Raising these funds will allow us to begin planning for the next recording project. If we raise more than we need, we will simply put it toward the next recording project. We have so many more songs we want to record!
