Mary Karen Read Memorial Rededication Ceremony - April 16, 2022 - YouTube

On April 16th 2022, the Mary Read Memorial was relocated and rededicated at Canterbury Woods Park in Fairfax County.

As Braddock District of Fairfax County Supervisor's office worked to expedite this process, the site was approved and relocated under an agreement that the county would be remunerated for the labor and materials cost of $5,500.

Per request from the Read Family, any fundraising exceeding the cost for relocation will be redirected to the scholarship fund established in Mary's Honor, the Annandale Highschool Band, and the Community Foundation of Northern Virginia.
