What is Red Sky Games?
Red Sky Games is a Perth based, independent board game, tabletop game design studio. The studio's primary focus is on creating narrative focused, co-operative games. Rather than playing against each other, every player at the table is part of the unfolding story at the table. Our competitive games are about the interaction between the players, giving them moments that will stand out, stories to be shared for the moments created. Our games are going to be easy to understand and to play, to keep people in the game and not knee deep in the rule book. We hope to provide the game in the language you speak, read best.

Our Projects
The two titles for the studio are Autumn's Return and Stellar Domain.
Autumn's Return follows the expedition to reclaim ancestral lands from orc invaders. Only discovered in late summer, there's only a single season to try and drive them from these lands. The only way to break the building horde is to defeat its warlord.
Autumn's Return is a limited turn, co-operative game with each player taking the role of one in the expedition to reclaim the castle. Up to six players are supported.
Stellar Domain takes place during an interstellar war. With the mapping of a new system a new front has opened in the war between the Commonwealth of Colonised Systems and Republican Union. With ten missions total in the campaign, you will command squadrons and task groups trying to make the most of each scenario.
Stellar Domain is scenario driven, co-operative game. Each scenario has different objectives, different conditions due to the tiles as core part of the game.
What you're paying for
With the funds raised here, they will go towards funding the prototypes for each game. This includes the following;
Art for cards, components,
Box art,
Printing of assets,
3d modelling of components and
Game specific promotional material
In addition you're also paying for;
Editing and Proof reading
Translations, into French, Italian, German, Spanish
Timeframe
With this funding it is my hope that within six months I can have a full prototype box for Autumn's Return ready and be playtesting it. With this stage complete I will be looking at publication, selling it to a publisher so I can work on Stellar Domain.

On a personal note, I would like to say that while I've been running games like Pathfinder, Dungeons and Dragons for many years, I'm constantly coming up with ideas. This would be a life's dream for me and one I hope to make into a full time job.
It's my hope that I can not just see these two games produced, published, played, but the many others I've thought about and the many I'm yet to make.
This is where I start and it's been a long road just to get here. I sincerely hope you can help me get even closer.
