UPDATE
Al is on his way back to our house from the hospital. He will have a long road to recovery but we are so happy to see that he is finally getting out of the hospital. Their child is starting to feel better and has had lots of rest with her momma at house as well. Meals have been brought to Papa at his home to help with him since he is unable to make meals at this time for himself and his wife. Please please consider donating to help this two fantastic men on their road to recovery. We will be working on getting Al and his family back to Canada once he is able to travel. Thank you to everyone for donating or sharing this. We appreciate everyone!!

Dear Friends and Community,
On Saturday, many of us gathered for an event we all look forward to each year. Unfortunately, an accident occurred that deeply affected three of our own.
These riders are members of the Red Knights MC—a club made up of current and former firefighters and their families. They’ve dedicated their lives to protecting and serving others, and now it’s our turn to step up for them.
One of our riders remains in the hospital and has already undergone surgery. He is on the mend, but his journey to full recovery will be a long one. Another rider walked away with multiple fractures, and while banged up, we are grateful it wasn’t worse. And our sweet friend, on her very first poker run here in the States, thankfully sustained only minor injuries.
The truth is, recovery looks different for each of them. What they all need now is time to heal their bodies and get their bikes back together. Perhaps most importantly, they need to know their family has their back. Around here, we believe in taking care of the people who take care of us—and that’s exactly what this is all about.
We’re asking for your help raising funds to support our Red Knights family while they heal and get back on two wheels where they belong. Every little bit helps, and every show of support reminds them they’re not in this alone.
Much love and respect,
Nohnie Simonsen
