SO, in light of everything going on (aka Covid-19), Red Hook has had to close for an indefinite amount of time.
Chloe and I have owned/operated the business since we were 21 (32 now!) thanks to the incredible support of our neighborhood and beyond. We wouldn't be here without the love and friendship that surrounds this community, and are so grateful to be a part of it.
In all this time, we have never come to a situation quite like this - where our incredibly devout, kind and bad ass staff needed some help.
We've got a lot of different personalities and situations that could all be remedied by a little cash during this washout. And since we don't have the ability to offer that as of now, we ask you humbly to help support these wonderful people who are always there to help US and YOU.
They make your drinks, blend your smoothies, tell you jokes, build your sandwiches, sing you songs, toast your bagels, and most importantly do all the dang dishes. We love them.
All funds will be split between staff members based on shifts for the next two weeks, with some money going towards the expense of keeping Red Hook able to return.
