We are Great8 Productions, an ambitious team of eight student filmmakers from SAE University College, bringing our vision to life with our upcoming short drama, "Red Handed." Our film, "Red Handed," is a gripping short drama exploring loyalty, morality, and the unintended consequences of one fateful decision: Two friends find themselves caught in a tense situation when a favour goes wrong. With emotions running high, they must decide what to do with the body in the boot of their car. The story follows a tense, often darkly funny, yet deeply emotional journey as the two navigate fear, frustration, and the weight of their decisions. Their plan is shaky, testing their friendship as they dive deeper into uncertainty. Is loyalty worth the weight of a body? "Red Handed" is about the grey areas of morality. how far we’ll go to protect the ones we love, and how, sometimes, doing what feels right can come at the cost of who we once were.

As students, we are taking on every role, writing, directing, producing, and filming. We are determined to make this film a standout in Australia’s independent film scene. However, filmmaking is a collaborative art, and this is where we need your support.
