Red Deer ALS walk - June 15, 2024 - Bower Ponds

Hello...Wayne here. As many of you know, I was diagnosed with ALS in April 2023. It has been a tumultuous year to say the least. I would not be where I am today if not for the ALS Society of Alberta. They have supplied me and my family with so much support, both in equipment which I will continue to need as my disease progresses, in emotional support, and in medical support. I am now on two medications that have shown promise in slowing down the disease and am tolerating them well. On June 15, 2024, I am inviting you to join me and my family at Bower Ponds for the annual ALS walk. Everyone was so generous last year, and our family's goal this year is to raise and even beat our last years total of $10,000. This is a lofty goal, but we have some amazing friends, neighbors, and supporters and we can do this together!! Every donation counts, no matter how small or large. Thank you all for your amazing support, your phone calls, your prayers, and your friendship. None of it goes unnoticed!
