A disaster appeal has been launched by the Red Cross for the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, where a conflict rages in the wake of Russia's invasion.

Red cross are committed to support those affected by the crisis and can help them to get food, water, first aid and medicine, warm clothing and shelter. The Half Moon Mad Yokes swim group will do a sponsored swim at one o'clock Sunday the 6th of March at the Half Moon on the South Wall, Poolbeg. All welcome to come along and bring either a yellow or blue swim hat and we will form the design of the Ukraine flag in the water. Please give what you can.
