Fall is here...and Red Bird Produce is officially open to the public!!

Ya'll. I cannot begin to express my excitement and gratitude for all the support so far. So much love and support from friends, family and complete strangers. That's what it takes to make a dream like Red Bird Produce become a reality!

We're OVER halfway to our crowdfunding goal. When we get there together every single one of us wins. Families win because there's suddenly good food in the neighborhood. Farmers win because we're supporting them. Avondale wins because, well, we need a place like Red Bird!

To make it happen though, we need your help. If you can support financially that is amazing. Hey I'm Casey Hobbs and I'm launching small grocery store in my neighborhood! My family and I love living in North Birmingham but have noticed that there is a lack of options when it comes to fresh produce.

This is not only an issue for those of us who love to cook. It's a much larger issue for neighbors nearby who live in what the USDA terms a food desert.

When it opens in the fall of 2023, Red Bird Produce will provide Avondale and surrounding communities in North Birmingham, AL healthy and inspiring food by supporting local farmers and prioritizing people over profits.

This is where you come in.
