Printing with a Purpose - our mission at EcoPrint!
A single Powerade bottle sparked the idea with founder, Caleb DeBass. He was soon joined by fellow students at Saint Francis University and EcoPrint was born - members are all current students at SFU, and were inspired by the university's slogan "Become That Someone". EcoPrint is now actively working with the Physician Assistant program to print medicine bottles and other items for their upcoming medical mission trip to Guatemala.
Our mission is to reduce plastic waste and provide sustainable solutions by transforming discarded plastic water bottles into high-quality 3D printed products that address the needs of disadvantaged communities. As a Humanitarian LLC, our objective is to provide innovative and sustainable solutions that support healthcare professionals and patients by leveraging the power of 3D printing technology while simultaneously creating a positive environmental impact. We aim to promote a more sustainable and equitable future, one plastic bottle at a time.
We are focusing on environmental conservation by repurposing plastic waste into 3D printer filament. By diverting plastic from landfills and oceans, we contribute to reducing the harmful impact of plastic pollution on the planet. This core objective aligns with nonprofit principles centered around promoting the welfare of the environment.
