ReCreative Spaces Is Growing!

ReCreative Spaces delivers arts-oriented, community-focused programming in unused, underused, and unlikely spaces.

In partnership with Menkiti Group, a DC-based real estate company, we will be opening our first long-term temporary space on August 1st, 2014 in Washington D.C. We couldn't be more THRILLED to see this vision of ours come to life. In fact, we're doing a happy dance right now.

In partnership with YOU, we will be creating a space for site-specific programming and events that cultivate artistic expression, community building, social collaboration, and civic participation. This campaign will help us raise the immediate funds we need to launch in just under three weeks. Any amount is so very helpful and appreciated. In fact, each donation will elicit a happy dance.

About
ReCreative Spaces is a place for communities to gather and share their passion for art of all kinds.
We provide a place:
to learn, to teach, to grow
that fosters creativity, innovation, collaboration, community
that cultivates talent known and newly discovered
that promotes balance of mind, body, and spirit

The Space
Located at 2003 Bunker Hill Road NE, our space will include all the things arts-related. A few examples include: gallery shows, classes and workshops, artist work space, performance and event space... you get the idea. We will be working with the local creative community to offer programming that is relevant and heartfelt. We will also be working with local food providers to offer delectable treats and beverages.

What You Get
We thank you for your support and contribution, and hope that ultimately, the best thing you 'get' is a connection to the vibrancy that will be created within our space.
But in addition. A little swag never hurt anyone so...
All donations of $25 or more will be eligible for one of the following tokens of our appreciation:
Two tickets to the event of your choice betweeen August 1-October 14, 2014.
OR
A limited edition print created by a DC-based artist, commissioned specifically for ReCreative Spaces.

See your money in action! Join us on August 1, 2014 for our opening reception! And in the meantime, the best way to stay informed on all of our happenings is to sign up for our NEWSLETTER, and to find us on FACEBOOK
