Hello everyone,
I’m raising money for my mother who recently had an accident and injured her spinal cord causing the impediment of the movement from her waist down and also her fingers. She had to have an emergency surgery the same day of the accident, she has been at the hospital for 3 weeks now and we are unsure of how long she will need to stay. Her recovery has been and is expected to be incredibly slow; at the moment all we can do is wait and see how things go as she recovers. Right now, we are uncertain on whether or not she will be able to walk or move her fingers again.
This is a dramatic change of life. My mother has a long journey ahead for her, we are really hopeful and have faith that she will recover and be able to walk again. This has been an incredibly sad and difficult time for all of us.
We are reaching out and our main goal is in hopes that we can raise money to help cover my mother’s medical expenses from her surgery and upcoming physical therapy. As I’m sure you can imagine, this type of medical procedure is very costly and frankly, outrageous.
