Recovery Therapy Expenses for Earl

I come to you today with a heavy heart to share the story of my nephew Earl Allen, who at just 19 years old, was involved in a devastating accident on the 26th of November. Earl and 5 other young individuals were innocently waiting at a red light on 71st and Wentworth when a U-Haul, involved in a police chase, collided with their vehicle out of nowhere.

The impact of the crash left Earl with a traumatic brain injury known as diffuse axonal injury. This injury has altered the course of his life and shattered the promising future he once had. Earl is loved and had dreams of becoming a successful rapper and was eagerly anticipating starting college this past January.

Unfortunately, the therapy required for Earl's recovery is not covered by his insurance, leaving the financial burden on his family. The costs of his intensive therapy are substantial and are being paid out of pocket.
