Recovery Support for Paul Chang
Donation protected
Paul & Kimberly Chang have been married for fourteen years. Together, they have two young kids, ages 7 & 2. Paul serves as the Director of Middle School ministry at Westside Family Church, and Kimberly is a nurse practitioner in the Kansas City area.
Paul was diagnosed with Covid-19 in early January and suffered a stroke on 1/11/21. As a result, he is currently in inpatient rehab working with intensive therapy (PT/OT/Speech Therapy) to regain his strength. He is expected to be in inpatient rehab for a few more weeks prior to being able to come home. Once home, he will continue outpatient rehab to continue in the long-term recovery process.
Paul loves BIG. His passion for Jesus is evident in his love for others. He has a playful yet gentle spirit, with a servants heart. If you’re ever feeling down, Paul is the faithful friend who is always present to listen & support. He pursued his Masters in Counseling in an effort to know how to best listen, understand & support others. Paul has led several missions trips to Southeast Asia, serving the people and raising pastoral leaders in those areas. Acts of service is one of the many ways he loves others.
The vision of Westside Family Church is to be Gods family wrapping around other families. This is a great opportunity to love big, the way Paul has loved so many. The goal is to love and support Paul & his family in a big & Christ-like way through raising financial support, blanketing them in prayer & sending encouragement. Please join in by supporting, sharing & praying for Paul & his family through the recovery process ahead.
