Hello, my name is Crystin Gilmore Ndiaye. I have created this GoFundMe for my Sister Alecia Gilmore and my nephew Connor Andrew Logan Gilmore.

Yesterday, August 17th my sister’s car was hit by a suspect on a car chase running from the police. They slammed into the rear drivers side door where my nephew Connor was sleeping. Thankfully, the assailants were arrested. My sister’s car was totaled and she and my nephew Connor were taken via ambulance to

Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis, TN.

“But God” was a response shared with me by a police officer at the scene.

Thankfully Connor has health insurance but my sister does not. We are unaware of the total medical expenses but ER visits aren’t cheap. They arrived via ambulance to the Emergency room. She and Connor were given a cat scan, x-rays, medication to treat pain and are expected to have a follow up appointment in a few days.

The blessing: no broken bones and they were sent home! The challenge now is that my sister has to care for my nephew who is having trouble walking while she has her own pain to assess and tend to. Since she was hit by a person trying to out run the police in a possibly stolen vehicle, it is up to her to replace her car and cover her medical expenses. Because her car was over 15 years old, she only had liability insurance.

This GoFundMe is to assist her with her medical bills and to aid her in getting another vehicle.

I have set the financial goal at $25,000 in hopes of covering her lack of income to care for herself and her son, to pay pending medical bills and to aid her in purchasing a vehicle.
