Dear community,

With our hearts in our hands, we ask for your help for our father, Arturo Deveza, 88 years old, who recently suffered an accident while visiting the United States. While walking, he lost his balance due to a stroke, which caused a fall and resulted in a hip fracture. He was rushed to Baptist Health Hospital in Miami, where he received urgent medical care and underwent surgery that has thankfully allowed him to begin regaining mobility and quality of life.

Unfortunately, as a tourist without medical insurance in this country, the hospital expenses from the surgery have been extremely high—on top of the rehabilitation therapy he must now begin, which is essential for full recovery.

Our family is doing everything we can to meet these financial obligations, but the costs are overwhelming, and we simply cannot do it alone.

That’s why we turn to you—with faith and humility. Any donation, no matter how small, will make a difference in helping us carry this burden. Accidente en Miami

Querida comunidad,

Con el corazón en la mano, les pedimos ayuda para nuestro papá Arturo Deveza, de 88 años, quien recientemente sufrió un accidente en Miami durante su visita a Estados Unidos. Caminando perdió el equilibrio a consecuencia de un ACV, lo que ocasionó una caída en donde sufrió una fractura de cadera , por lo cual fue internado de emergencia en el hospital Baptist Health, donde recibió atención médica urgente, practicandole una operación, la cual le ha permitido ir recuperando la movilidad y calidad de vida.

Lamentablemente, al ser turista y no contar con seguro médico en este país, los gastos hospitalarios por la intervención han sido extremadamente elevados, sumado a las terapias que debe iniciar y deben acompañar a este tipo de lesión para una recuperación plena.

Nuestra familia está haciendo todo lo posible por cumplir con todos esos compromisos económicos, pero los costos son abrumadores y se nos hace imposible hacerlo sin apoyo.

Por eso, recurrimos a ustedes con mucha fe y humildad. Cualquier donación, por pequeña que sea, será de gran ayuda para aliviar esta carga. Si no pueden donar contamos con sus oraciones y les pedimos de corazón que compartan esta campaña con sus contactos, cada granito cuenta.
