Hi everyone, We wanted to share a quick update on Dallas’ recovery journey. He recently had skin graft surgery on three areas, and everything went smoothly. Mum and Dallas have now returned to Cairns and will continue attending regular medical and physio appointments to support his healing. Things are slowly getting back on track, and we’re incredibly thankful for the progress so far. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for all the love, donations, and encouragement. Dallas now has to be on his best behaviour and keep his neck/ face and shoulder covered at all times throughout the days to keep any sun of it for the scarring to be minimal colourings. 

Hi, my name is Brie, and I’m reaching out to ask for support for my family after my 16-year-old brother, Dallas Cook, has recently got himself into some trouble with a small motorbike incident.

He’s now facing a long and painful road to recovery in brisbane hospitals, with upcoming surgeries and skin grafts needed on his neck, face, and shoulder. Our family is doing everything we can to help him through this, but the emotional and financial strain is already heavy.

I know I might get in a bit of trouble for reaching out like this, but I just want to take some pressure off my parents. They’ve always done everything for us without hesitation, and now they’re facing the costs of surgeries, hospital stays, travel, and accommodation — all on top of the stress of seeing their child in pain.

We’ll do whatever it takes to support Dallas, but the truth is, times are tough. If you’re in a position to help, any donation — big or small — would mean the world to us and go directly toward his treatment and recovery.
