Our dear friend Osnat Bernstein, whom everybody loves and adores, was dealt a terrible blow several months ago.  She suffered a massive stroke, which landed  her in intensive care for several weeks before she was moved to a rehabilitation center to start her recovery. Honestly,  she is lucky and we are grateful that she survived this terrible trauma. 

The road to recovery is very long, but Osnat is a fighter and a determined, magnificent person. Our dear Ossie needs to re-learn most everything from scratch, including walking, talking and living independently once again. She requires extensive occupational, speech and physical therapy in order to retrain her basic functioning. Her amazing husband, Yariv, and her two beautiful children, Etai and Adi have been selfless angels, caring for Ossie and supporting her recovery.  

When the stroke first happened, we all felt so helpless. Osnat was always the one to jump in and ease burdens for others.  The Bernstein's family friends and so many in the community have been asking how they can help.  After much discussion, a group of friends have come together to launch this Go Fund Me page with the intent of raising funds to support Osnat's significant therapeutic needs, most of which are not covered by her medical insurance.  Also, the funds raised will allow for additional caregivers to continue advancing Osnat's treatments.  She has significant work to do, yet if anyone in the world can recover, it's our dear friend Osnat.  

Please donate whatever you can to help Osnat and her family to provide the care and treatments for her recovery.  All the funds raised will go towards helping Osnat to improve her quality of life and to regain her independence.  Every donation, in any amount, helps with the treatments and will send the love and support that so many in the community feel for her.
