On Saturday, July 10, John McCarthy was critically injured when a driver ran a red light and slammed into the vehicle in which John was a passenger. The impact caused John to suffer from multiple brain bleeds, damage to his frontal lobe, and DAI (Diffuse axonal injury). John has overcome the initial damage and is thankfully starting to work his way into recovery.

John now stands at the base of two mountains. One of which requires months of time and physical therapy, and another of extreme financial burden. If you are one of the lucky souls to have become friends with John, you already know he would give you the shirt off his back and even the shoes off his feet for you. Regardless of who you are, he wants everyone to be included and cared about. He’s a man that shows love for every person from every walk of life.
