Hello everyone, on May 29, 2025, four members of Brush High School's Boys soccer team (Ean Freeman, Yukesh Rai, Josue Melgar, and Prajit Tamang) were involved in a near-fatal car accident by no fault of their own. As they were leaving a weekly pick-up soccer game, they were struck by a distracted driver, causing their vehicle to roll over five times. Fortunately, all the young men survived and are now home from the hospital.
Two of the young men are limited to bed rest and won’t be able to return to work for at least one month, so it will definitely take some time for them to fully recover. These young men lost all of their soccer gear, fishing gear, and electronics. All of their cleats, soccer balls, goalie gloves, and soccer bags were either damaged or ejected from the vehicle. Also damaged in the accident were some of their phones, AirPods, headphones, and laptops.
These young men have suffered a lot mentally, physically, and financially. We are asking the public, if you are in a position to donate a monetary contribution, to please assist us in showing these young men our support by helping to replenish the items that were lost or damaged in the accident. No amount is too small. Gift cards are also acceptable. Thank you in advance for allowing the young men the opportunity to focus on their healing journeys and not have to worry about the material items lost.
