Recovery Fund For Zach Harner

Zach Harner, 19 years old, was in a head-on collision on Saturday, May 8th at approximately 10 pm. He was struck by another driver who was recklessly driving over 100 mph in a residential area of downtown Winchester. Zach miraculously survived the crash with serious and extensive non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Winchester Medical Center. His femur was broke in one leg and broken ankle and he has a shattered knee cap on the other leg. In addition, his jaw is broken in three places. He has had three surgeries so far. Zach will have a very long road ahead to get back to full recovery, including acute care rehab. Zach is a 2020 graduate of Mountain View Christian Academy. He holds the prestigious achievement of Eagle Scout in Boy Scouts of America as well as Virginia State 4-H All Star. He is also a Virginia, West Virginia and AIM National trapshooting Champion. Zach is currently enrolled as a student at Lord Fairfax Community College. Zach is an amazing young man with a quiet spirit, but a great sense of humor. He will need all the prayers he can get as he recovers.
