Recovery fund for William and Aisling

I’m trying to raise money to help my sister and my nephew. 

My 12 year old nephew William was in a serious ATV accident last night (July 15, 2020) If it weren’t for his helmet and his quick thinking friend who lifted the ATV off him and tied off his wound, he would’ve died. 

William was rushed to the hospital and had numerous X-rays and scans, and then taken for surgery.  After his surgery, the doctor explained all that had happened to Williams arm. He said that he’s lucky that amputation wasn’t required. His arm was almost ripped off at a point mid way up his upper left arm. He may require a bone graft if the bone doesn’t fuse on its own. He will also require significant skin grafting as that arm is pretty mangled. He said it was like seeing something out of a horror movie. His opposite hand will also require some skin grafting. His body is all scraped and bandaged. Other than a significant bump and scrape from a stone that got stuck in his visor He has no head Injuries. I wouldn’t doubt that with the condition Will’s body is in, that without that helmet, he wouldn’t have survived. 

My sister is a single mom, and normally works two jobs Just to pay the bills, but is only working one at the moment due to COVID. 

She will need to take extensive time off work to be able to care for will after his release from the hospital. Right now he is unable to even feed himself. She doesn’t have benefits at work and will plow through any vacation time Or sick time she may have in no time at all.

I don’t want Her to have to choose between being with her son, or working to pay the bills. And who knows what expenses they’re going to face once he’s home.
