Berg family recovery fund - endorsed by Rav Rodin

My name is Alexander Berger and on Facebook you may find me as Alex Berg. My rabbi Nosson Rodin who knows me is endorsing this initiative. I have created this rabbinically endorsed campaign to support my family , my mother , with her healths needs and necessities. Funds will be used for her sustainment and mostly for her medical therapies and treatments I never thought my life would come to this. This is so hard for me to ask. You see I had it all. I was legal counsel for a large company and then Covid-19 hit the world. Now I find myself having to do the absolute unthinkable thing and actually have to ASK people for money? WOW. This is tough.

I’ve been a hard worker, had a wonderful job. The company I was with lost so much business because of Covid-19 I lost the work ENTIRELY. I have searched and searched for work and all I have been able to get is some small handyman and gardening jobs which I’m happily doing. But we just can’t manage on a small job every now and again.

This is tough - it’s not just me. It’s also my mother, it’s not just food, it’s that she has a dreadful condition - Macro cytic anemia with hemoglobine deficit.

She’s really suffering. She needs medications for this condition and I’m so sad about this but things have been so terrible that I have actually had to decrease the amount of medication she can have. Thing is - she’s meant to be having therapy as well, and I just can’t help her with that. You can imagine how dreadful we’re both feeling about all of this so I have no choice anymore but to have to ask you.

Her disease is chronic.
