Our dear friend, Sherene Aun was hit by a passenger car yesterday evening in Missoula - while finishing her shift as a clinical social worker. Sherene is a single mother with a 16 year old daughter and is an avid pet lover. This accident was completely unexpected and as any single parent understands, her bank account was not prepared. Sherene‘s injuries are severe and extensive to the point that she need to be transported to University of Utah Salt Lake City ICU.

Today the doctors described Sherene’s injuries as internal bleeding, traumatic brain injury, and “half the bones in her body broken”, but at this point stable. Sherene’s recovery time is unknown, but anticipating several months to possibly a couple of years.

The funds donated will go directly to Sherene’s family to cover Sherene’s mortgage payments, allow her family to travel to be with her, and other bills such as providing for her 16 year old daughter.
