Hi my name is Damien Timmins. I am trying to set up a fundraiser for my wife Sharon to help with her recovery. Sharon has been battling two form's of arthritis since her mid 30s. She lost her dad in May 2024. She lost her mam on 9th October 25 both of which we cared for at home. On 13th January 2026 Sharon suffered a massive brain bleed followed by seizures and a stroke. She spent 6 weeks in Beaumont Hospital first on life support 3 weeks in ICU and then in recovery she was moved back to Kilkenny St Lukes for a term then to Sacred Hospital in Carlow. I brought her home on May 20th she was on a waiting list for NHS Dunlaoghire and finally got in about 5 weeks ago where she is still attending I take her home for weekends. It's been a tough time for myself and my 2 sons. Sharon's progress will long and slow but she is doing well.
