Dear Seattle community and beyond:

Our beloved friendly freak and night mayor needs our help! Carrie-Ann, who many of you know as Scary-Ann, was the victim of a mindless hyper-violent assault Wednesday, August 19th outside of her apartment in broad daylight. The attack left her with several injuries requiring medical attention including a fractured pelvis and broken hand which will most certainly require follow up care. She will not be able to work (for how long we do not know yet) and will require long term support while her body heals.

Carrie-Ann is known for defending her community fiercely, prioritizing our safety when we are out enjoying performance and night life, and is an overall radical human being. Please consider donating to this fundraiser in support of her healing needs, missed work, and ongoing related expenses so that some stress can be taken off her plate as she focuses on recovering from extremely painful injuries.
