On Friday around 10:00 AM, our mommy Melissa Stephens suffered a massive ruptured brain aneurysm and was rushed to Kaiser Hospital in Sacramento. On the first day, she suffered a stroke, which unfortunately has left her paralyzed on her left side. She has had three emergency procedures to save her life; the first to remove the blood/clots, inserting coils to prevent further hemorrhage, and a procedure to relieve the pressure in her head.

She is currently in the ICU in recovery, with great staff and doctor. The first 5 days are the most crucial, as doctors closely monitor her brain swelling, blood flow, and stability.

We are starting this fundraiser to help cover medical expenses that may not be fully covered by insurance:

• Medical equipment and devices

• Physical therapy and rehabilitation

• Follow-up procedures and specialist care

• Ongoing recovery needs
