Recovery fund for Kidnetix breakin
Donation protected
If being closed for the past 14 months wasn't enough!
Tracy, Sandra, Bridgette and Mikyla Grant are asking for your support in raising funds for Kidnetix Brampton to replace the door and equipment’s lost to vandalisms and theft.
In these unprecedented times, Kidnetix (along with many other businesses) was forced closed on March 14, 2020 due to the challenges presented by the Coronavirus.
For the past 14years Kidnetix has been one of GTA's premier resource to family fun and children's entertainment with indoor playground facilities in Brampton and Toronto. Birthday parties, corporate events, summer day camps or children's recreation programs, Kidnetix has exposed thousands of children to new experiences that excite and stimulate their imagination.
On October 24, 2020 vandals entered the Kidnetix mobile unit (by breaking the door) and illegally helped themselves to thousands of dollars of video gaming equipment (i.e. Xboxes, PlayStations, Nintendo Wii’s & Switches, multiple controllers, sound bars, cables and a huge catalog of games). Then AGAIN on April 2, 2021 vandals illegally entered the Kidnetix mobile unit, breaking the door, and stealing TVs rooted in the walls, newly replaced sound bars and lighting.
Kidnetix, a significant contributor to the Brampton community has been closed for over 1 year without ANY income due to the ongoing shutdowns. These robberies are beyond cruel and disheartening. Where is the love for thy neighbour?!
Even when faced with tremendous adversity Kidnetix still managed to find a way to pick up the pieces and show up for the little kiddies who came out today to see the Kidnetix Easter Bunny! While Peel Police and the Special Investigation Unit dusted the scene, Kidnetix gave out free Easter treats to over 50 families.
This GoFundMe campaign has been launched to help raise some financial support to help cope during this very difficult time.
Kidnetix is run by a group of hard working and dedicated people, who have brought a lot of enjoyment to many children/families in the GTA. We fully understand the hardship being faced by everyone at the present time so we appreciate any contribution that you are able to give at this time. And remember sharing is caring and it’s also free.
Thank you for listening, and being part of our incredible journey.
