Recovery Fund for HS Student and Family

Hello, my little brother was tragically shot 5 times shielding his body over his twin sisters during a driveby. His name is Nakai Woodson and he is only 17 years old. His long intestine was severed from a bullet, resulting in surgery to get his intestine sown back together. He was hit once again in the abdomen, twice in the thigh, and once in the calf. He is an Honors student that plays football & and runs track. He also loves computers and science, and has been the protector of his family saving his mother and sister's life through the first attempt. He is always taking care of our baby siblings and putting them before himself in everything.

My mother, Sade Woodson is a single mother of 6 children. She is a survivor of stomach cancer and multiple health complications, as well as a full-time student advancing her career. As a volunteer at multiple non-profits, she doesn't get paid for her time and service. She doesn't have the support or services to move our family again in this critical time of education while supporting my brother in the hospital and healing from the incidents.

We are not aware of why this violence occurred and who was responsible, so this is alarming for my family and forces us to relocate as far as possible. Our house and family car has bullet holes in them. We need a new home, a new family car, support for moving expenses, furniture, etc... Anything you guys can give to my family would be much appreciated.
